I have been practicing yoga since 2000. I began to practice along with a DVD and later found a semester-long course offered at California State University, Fullerton. I enjoyed the course so much that I continued to participate for the entirety of my degree. I continued to practice and participate in events and eventually completed all the requirements to become a certified yoga teacher through Cloud Nine Yoga School. I have worked with the wellness center at University of California, Riverside to offer some yoga classes to my fellow graduate students and was in an instructional yoga DVD.  

I have helped to create and facilitate two yoga events marketed towards my fellow graduate students at University of California, Riverside: a one-time workshop and a series of free weekly classes. Both events were organized and advertised by the campus wellness center (known as THE WELL). Below is a handout I created for the classes and the fliers from one of the events.

I had the privilege of working with Julie Jackson Chenowith, Girish Cruden, and an amazing group of people to create an award-winning instructional yoga DVD called "Yoga Music Union." I was only in a few scenes,but it was still a remarkable experience for me. You can see me at 0:46, I am the closest male to the camera.
